Reward Incentive Program

Following four critical steps help to craft an effective safety incentive program in the interest of an organization:

Make a properly functioning, and safety program. Make sure the program is not lacking anywhere in respect to safety management process nor can it replace any other part of a safety program.

Evaluation and examination of safety performance within the organization should be done carefully. If accidents are higher than average, the safety program is either not working properly or is failing in implementation. Suitable solutions and corrections must be made to reduce the negative action.

Seek management support and proactive participation. Until and unless a plan is accepted the management and stand behind it, neither will employees. Workers should be made believe of the program and its effectiveness. The program should be properly administered, and that they have a shot at actually winning achieving the reward.

Structure the incentive program. Decide goals and choose applicable rewards, and develop the administrative process.
